RPG NXT: Conference 2022

On June 29, 2022, we gathered at the stunning Cape Schanck resort on the Mornington Peninsula for our annual Retail Prodigy Group Conference, spanning three days.

Flying in our Store and Area Managers from Samsung and Nike stores around Australia/New Zealand, we were able to reunite as a team alongside our Support Office Team for the first time since the pandemic.

This was a particularly special Conference as we took the opportunity to celebrate the 10 Years of RPG and reflect on our many proud achievements.

With the theme of “RPG NXT” the focus was around the future direction of RPG. We kicked off with presentations from some inspiring leaders from Nike and Samsung sharing the exciting direction that our brands are taking. With innovation at the forefront of RPG we used our time together to focus on three key areas of our business that harness success: Culture, Top Talent and Performance.

We also spent some time discussing the importance of continuing to evolve our workplace culture, ensuring our team members feel safe and comfortable at work. Our seminars on Pride in Diversity and Community and Belonging helped equip us with skills to create an inclusive and supportive workplace, followed by some inspirational messages from Dylan Alcott OAM (Australian of the Year) and Manny Hendrix (Collingwood All Stars).

Throughout conference we were also able to network via a number of social events, including a sporting round robin, a yoga session, costume trivia night and our formal annual Awards Gala.

It was a fantastic opportunity to get to know our colleagues in more depth and to strengthen our relationships for the years to come.
